I want to put a bigger tank on my 535 virago,i know highway hawk used to make one but that was only for the dummy tank model and apparently no good for a 1991 model like mine,i like the quick bob style tanks but the virago doesn't have a petrol tap on the main tank just 2 outlets for rubber hoses, can i still use a normal tank with a tap?

i dont see why not,
the only problem you might come across is the new tank clearing the airbox, you may find that you have to ditch it in place of an exposed filter, which of course means you'll have to re-jet, blah blah blah,
