Hi
I was running my 1999 ST1100 and turned on the lights.
This has killed the bike and now it won't even turn over, the only light that appears on dash is the ABS!

I've checked all fuses and all seem ok. I'm at a bit of a loss now, as bike was running fine before this.

Has anyone got any ideas what may have gone wrong??

Also While I'm here has anyone got any helpful hints of how to change the sidelight without stripping half the bike!!!

Had mate with the exact same problem a while back.

The battery internals had collapsed and he needed a new one.
The battery showed the correct voltage but could provide enough oomph for anything. it was proper strange.

Try a diff battery.
