Lol I aint too keen on the wording, Sub 250cc menace.
I ride a 125 and its certainly not a moped.
If a ped is parked in the middle of the pavement it deserves to be pushed over cause it shouldnt be there in the first place.

125's are ok, as 4 stroke 125s can reach national speed limits.
i agree with the getting rid of 50's though, or at least banning them from A roads and main roads.
then again, i do like following them for a bit and flying past them as close as i dare with my 400 with a rotten off exhaust. ive seen a good bit of wobbling after ive passed some before (not from me) ____________________ Blue_SV650S wrote: it was a sh1te wheelie, but it proves that he can get it up in 3rd and can do angles. Touch'e ^. Fed up of the other fella's trying to do one over us little ones. If we could ride a sodding r1,gixxer,busa - dont you think we would? We dont care if you look down on us,we dont (i dont) really fancy being in your little clique group anyhow. As i am limited to 50cc's of raw power,i will enjoy it,riding around with mates, finding nice places to ride, tight bends, maybe not so many long straights..but you get the picture. Hell,id laugh at some of you lot getting on your high horses, then getting hammered by a tuned to high heaven 50. So to all you ped haters,do one. Until i can ride something bigger sensibly, this is all i will be allowed on. And i am speaking for myself here, not everybody obviously. Im not a chav, just because i ride a 'ped'. I dont look to cause trouble, ffs i barely even filter,as to not p^ss other road users of. Some of us can ride well enough as to not damage or harm any other person,so lay off. Said enough, although i do have a lot more to say. Pah |

i think at 16 125's are more useful than 50's ____________________ Blue_SV650S wrote: it was a sh1te wheelie, but it proves that he can get it up in 3rd and can do angles. I agree completely ^ (Except I wouldn't be riding a Busa, don't like 'em much, settle for a Gixxer SRAD though ).
Oh, and I'm getting a Puch Maxi ( ) soon, so will be going slower than ever! ____________________ Current: Suzuki RG 125 Gamma, Honda H100, Triumph Tiger 800XC, Suzuki SV650 (minitwin) |

125's would definitely be better. But then to the 'normal lot',wed be seen as,chavs and trouble makers, with double the power going double as fast. Sometimes you just cant win. But i wouldnt say no to a 125,so we have more of an edge over a nova. |

ok, ammendment to the rules:
at 16 you can only ride a 4 stroke 125...
at 17 you can be a knobber and get a 2 stroke or be cool and take your test. ____________________ Blue_SV650S wrote: it was a sh1te wheelie, but it proves that he can get it up in 3rd and can do angles. I have to agree with that poster though, I'm using the Zip whilst the NSR is off the road. I feel, look and act like a complete tw@t when riding it. I should probably kill myself. ____________________ Stupid Young Tw@ts Clan 2007 - Sponsored By Powerthirst

ive got a 2 stroke... and 4 4 strokes, you can tell which i prefer
what im implying is that the price difference between a 50cc and a 125cc is about the price of a test + course (£300).
you can pick up the bigger bikes much cheaper than the baby ones. ____________________ Blue_SV650S wrote: it was a sh1te wheelie, but it proves that he can get it up in 3rd and can do angles. Personally I think the law should be changed to start riding at 17. Totally get rid of 50's. You get to many wankers who get them at 16 because they can, piss about and crash and drive dangerously. People who when 17 get a car and have no interest in bikes. And yes I'm 16. ____________________ www.southwestbikers.com

Rezzin has a fair point about not everyone is a cunt.
But admit it, most of them are.
I had a fiddy, it was fun, i learnt to crash on it. I loved it.
I'm now a "knobber" on a 125.
I'm so bored of it i'm reduced to stunting it till it dies.
Soon as i can afford my ratty 600 i'm upgrading.
Until then, ya'll can off.
I love my scooty!
Steve-D is so right.
Stops the dickheads getting £2000 brands from council flat mummy and daddy and binning them.
Truth be told, when i move up to my 6, i'll probably buy a 50 aswell to tune and use as a baby stunt toy. ____________________ 22/8/08 A2 Passed! Full License Biatch!

You got to start somewhere.
I remember my scooter days, I slightly miss them in a way. The days when you could go for a ride with as little as £5 on you, Knowing you could go get a bit of lunch and pay for enough petrol to get you to the coast and back.
The days when you could cram as much as you could under the seat. When sitting at 30/40mph didnt bother you because most of your mates were on the bus or whatever, Or walking.
When im riding or driving, I give scooter riders and L platers as much road respect as I would any other biker. A car driver ripping it out of a Scooter rider is one thing.
Another biker ripping a Scooter rider is low.
If your going to rip anyone, Rip the Harley and Harley wannabe riders. They don't nod back! |
