This year will be my first time to the IOM this for the TT. I wondered if there were any other first timer solo riders on here going this year who would want to meet up for a pint, ride, spot of sight-seeing, etc?

Staying just outside Blackburn on Thursday 2nd, leaving to the IOM Friday 3rd. Heading back Wednesday 8th.

I wish you well. I went a couple of year's back and was luck to camp in a mate's back garden. But even then it turned out to be quite expensive. The crossing was in the region of a couple of hundred pound's. One bike two people. And it seemed like every one was out to make there money in them two week's. I think for four day's at the I of M. I could have had a two week package holiday in Spain off season.

Thanks John - ferry is fully paid up and I have found a good cheap homestay which should work out well.

It's true it's not cheap, but Muslim pilgrims don't visit Hajj because "they got a good last minute deal" Wink
