I got a display hugger for £25, £50 off, went to offer it up to the bike today and its deformed fairly badly, is there anyway to ease it back into shape? My idea was to heat it using a hair dryer as I try and get it to reach the mounting points, but would that work? Am I better off scrapping it and getting a brand new one?

Fairly sure its GRP, sands nicely and you can see fibres on the inside.

Odd. GRP shouldn't really deform.

It can crack but it shouldn't deform on account of it being bonded with resin. Resin doesn't go soft with heat.

I'd have thought it more likely that the brackets it attaches with have bent or the holes in the hugger have ovalled out allowing it to move.

I'll try and get a pic, its not a little out, its A LOT out, the Hugger fits to existing holes in the swing arm, the holes in the hugger are a good 2 - 3cm away
