Having just tried booking my theory test for my Car Licence I did what most people would do banged theory test into google and clicked the first result.
Cutting a dull story short there are dodgy websites out there. I first clicked on https://www.booktheorytests.co.uk/ I filled out the details, then was told I have this Pass protection thingy that would give me free retests. I didn't want it as I am fairly confident I will pass first time. There was no option to remove it this pass protection would cost me £17. Sod this I thought, then it clicked this wasn't the 'official' way to book your test. The DSA charge £31 for a theory Test any more and you are being mugged off. Like this place, https://www.theorytest.net/ £51 they think is a fair price to charge for what the DSA charge £31 for. Both of these options are 'featured' in google and come above the official page.
This is the genuine page, https://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/LearnerAndNewDrivers/TheoryTest/index.htm
The rest are scams. ____________________ Well, you know what they say. If you want to save the world, you have to push a few old ladies down the stairs.
Skudd:- Perhaps she just thinks you are a window licker and is being nice just in case she becomes another Jill Dando.
WANTED:- Fujinon (Fuji) M42 (Screw on) lenses, let me know if you have anything. |
