Hiya peeps,

Hope you all had a good Christmas. One of the prezzies I got is Moto GP 3 for the PS2 which is a quality game. Just started a season yesterday and it is quite tricky if you play properly like for instance using the weight distribution settings and the manual gear changing option.

It also has arcade mode if you cant be arsed with all that and just want to race.

Definately reccomend to buy.

Mike.

I rented it out a couple of days ago. Good game but the PC versions are a hell of a lot better.

Do the first challenge on MotoGP3 and see what cheesy bike you unleash. Laughing LOL

As I said it's a good game and Rossi isn't that good on there. He's at the front row all the time but your able to get passed him quite easily.

On the subject of bike game, don't buy Riding Spirits. It's the biggest load of crap I've ever played! Well not quite but I didn't rate it very well at all. The 'Gran Turismo' on bikes idea was good, just the game play is total crap.

I think it would be cool if you could design your own leathers and lid as well. But never mind.

Valentino Rossi is easy to catch on the Arcade mode but not as easy in the season mode. I also noticed that you can get slowed down quite easily by whoever is in 2nd place. Usually Biaggi or Checa. They just seem to get in the way on purpose.

Well it makes up for not having a working bike at the moment.

Mike.

PC version I think you can. You can change the style and then the colours. But as you said, you can't on PS2.
Oh well sh*t happens. Razz

MotoGP and MotoGP2 on PS2 were near enough the same graphics and gameplay wise, just the next season. The MotoGP3 is last season and with much improved graphics and gameplay.

MotoGP on PC is the season before last AFAIK with good graphics (with accordance to the graphics card you run it with), and then MotoGP2 is last season with pretty much the same graphics.

Personally prefer the latest as it has the choice of the 2 stroke 500's or the 4 stroke thou's.
For some reason I find the 500's better on MotoGP3 but I on MotoGP2 (PC) it's the thou's that I find better.

Oh well, all good games.

Moto GP 1,2,3 on PS2 is by Namco whereas the PC and xbox games of Moto GP 1,2 are by THQ. The THQ games are far superior IMO and they are less 'arcadey' than the PS2 version.
The 'design your own bike' type feature is ace Cool

Moto GP2 for the PC is absolutely class.

Great fun, great graphics, quite realistic, and the multi player makes it brilliant.

Yeah you do knock me off you bar steward!! You've even gone so far as to race the opposite way around the track Laughing .

Mind you, you usually finish with more points when you do that than when you race the right way around Laughing Razz .
