Organised Trail Biking Tours - UK or Overseas

Hi Guys,
I've recently moved to the UK for my OE (working holiday) and I'm quite keen to do an organised tour somewhere, probably overseas though I'd consider any decent tours in the UK. I don't have any gear or my bike over here so any tour would need to supply all of that.

I'm looking for a reasonably challenging tour, I've been riding for over 10 years, have a 250EXC back home in NZ and consider myself a pretty capable rider. depending on the track I'm think 3/4 days riding will be plenty as I haven't ridden since july so I'm pretty unfit - might have to make a few visits to the gym before hand.

I've heard good things about Spain, though I'm really not to fussed about where as long as its good riding/scenery/value for money

Has anyone else done tours like these? Where would you recommend? Which companies are good? Which should I avoid? Anything else you can tell me - ie guides, accom, size of the group, cost, things to be wary of? Pub session at the end of the day wouldn't be a bad thing either.

I can recommend Redtread too, been twice with them now.

www.trailrides-wales.com I have worked here and been a customer many times. Run by Marrianne and Colin. They have B&B/annexe too. Some stunning riding in Wales.

thanks for the replies. I had a look at redtread and they require a full motorcycle licence, which I dont have. (Never needed it for trail riding in NZ). I'll chase up the other crowd and see if they need a licence too. Its not something I can be really be bothered with for the sake of the ocasional ride.

I think you will be very luck to find an outfit that will take someone without a full licence.
