Hi all. Im looking for some sound advice.
I am a 28 year old male UK citizen and have held a full bike licence for 5 years now. I havnt needed a car until reciently and have just passed my full driving test and am about to buy a car etc.

What im asking is this,. Are there any good insurance companies out there who will take into account the fact that I have been on the road for 5 years already.

As i have only had a full car licence for a month, i am seen as a new driver and looking at quotes of £1600+
Of course i see this as increadable steep when compared to quotes as if i have had a licence for 5 years coming out at £500 (ish)

Does anyone have any tips or know of any good companies which help people in my situation.

Many thanks to all who respond.

I think ebikeinsurance and Tesco accept bike NCB for cars, but then you'd obviously have 0NCB for your bike. Might be worth checking out which vehicle you'd be better off putting the NCB on.
