Well, in regards to keeping it clean and maintained you could find what you need for most things via Opie Oils and if you register with them you get a discount for being registered member of BikeChatForum. They also have regular promotions sent via e-mail.

After googling on bike cleaning, I came across some videos on Youtube that are pretty good, they basically use:
* WD-40 or similar all over the bike.
* A soft brush like the kind which comes with a bottle of "Wonder Wheels" to apply the WD-40, a small soft paintbrush is probably a good alternative.
* Powerwasher to blow the thick off then.
* Wash and Wax applied with woolen mitten/sponge.
* Powerwasher to spray clean.
* Microfibre cloths to dry and shine.
Finally regrease chain, and spray your ACF-50 & Silicone to protect and lubricate essential areas.
I personally bought Turtlewax and microfibres from Costco as they're doing a bulk 25L turtlewax and 36 microfibre cloths, think it came to less than £30 and will keep me going for ages.
Done this a few times now with awesome showroom results.
