So, I changed the oil-filters - both the small-particle at the top of the engine and large particle in the sump - and filled it with the correct Ester-based 10W40 oil, but I'm still getting crank-case pressure? :S

He was getting enough pressure to pop oil seals out of place, and did so on several occasions. I had hoped my filter changes had made a difference, but, when I remove the dip-stick after turning the engine over on the starter motor (it didn't even fire up!) it hissed as if there was loads of air-pressure behind it. :S

The large-particle filter was coated in lumps of instant gasket, and I'm worried some instant gasket may have bypassed this and got clogged in some oil-ways, increasing oil-pressure.

Does this sound right? :S
Are cranks supposed to pressurize?
