hi does anyone no where the regulator/rectifier is on a 1989 fzr 400? any help would be appreciated

A guess based on the 600, but try under the near side seat side panel, near the back.

I haven't actually downloaded them to ensure the content, caveat emptor.

take the side panels off and its located on the metalwork heading up towards the rear tail light..



iirc its on the right hand side.
