From what I've read as long as it's silicate free antifreeze, because ones with it originally were designed for aluminium car engines. Some people if you do a search have stated that their motorcycles have had leaking coolant due to them earlier adding that type of antifreeze as they later found it wasn't compatible with their cooling system.

Tap water maybe treated with chlorine should not be used which is chorosive if added to ethylene glycol solutions, and therefore use de-ionized water instead for concentrated coolant/ant-freeze.

Here's an example from Halfords

Silicate included

Silicate Free

Here's a site I like buying from for bargains and they give a discount for bike chat forum users!

Ethylene glycol is the sweet tasting toxic part of normal antifreeze.

The bit that Hondas don't like is the silicate content, they are known to eat Honda water pumps.

Modern antifreeze uses organic acids rather than ethylene glycol as the antifreeze. You could probably still find some OAT antifreeze using silicates but the Halfrauds advanced one is ok for bikes and is silicate free.
