Oh yeah sorry Mad4it, I didn't notice it was you that posted.

Yeah, they are good bikes, nice handling, not amazingly comfortable. Not loads of go, and they don't feel very 'twin' like, but they are pretty light, and very noisy with open cans.

Can be easily upgraded with things like R1/R6 brake calipers and the like.

They do have weak camchain tensioners, and some can be very rattly. G's one was pretty rattly but it went on for a long time.

That looks really tidy, I'd buy it for £350 any day of the week.

They have been known for crank failures same as TDM 270deg motor but at that price i'd buy it anyway.

the thing is if i pay £350 and i dont like it or its shagged it needs to break for at least £700 to make it worth while
now theres not many parts for these on ebay which could mean the parts will be expensive or that nobody will want the parts and i end up with a heap of trx shaped parts..lol

Why do you have to break it at all? Sell it on again at what you paid as spares/repair. Or if it's straight and the engine runs well, you should get £500+ easy.

I like TRX's. Good fun to ride and fab on twisty B roads. £350 for what only seems to be a mucky bike with stickers on it is a steal.

If I had the pennies I would.

To a breaker like yourself, no..

But if I had bought it for that, an afternoon or 2 cleaning up, would fetch nearly 1.2k upwards on ebay, thats profit to a guy like me who doesnt have a business overhead to think of.
