Ok i want to get a K&N for my RVF but dont really know that much about them. I dont know weather to go for the K&N or if there is a better one for my bike. I have an Art can and been told that a K&N air filter and Art can are a great combo but i dont have a clu and also will this make any difference to the performance or Sound etc...
Any help will be great as i dont want to screw up my bike and i am guessing that i will have to get it looked at by a garage once the air filter has been fitted.
Thanks guys

p.s- Any prices or links will be great. Thanks again ____________________ !! MY OTHER RIDE IS YOUR GIRLFRIEND !! |

If you fit a high performance air filter like these you WILL need the jetting changed, if not you'll be running mega lean.
My personal preference is for the K&N - I've always liked their filters over pipercross though to be honest theres probably bugger all between the two if they are both cotton gauss type filters.
There will be a audible difference in that the intake roar will increase, and with correct jetting there will be a performance gain too. ____________________ The BCF's very own Party boy! Though he's getting old and feeling it!

If your planning to put more tuning parts on your bike in the near future, leave it a while before putting it on a dyno. If you need details of places where you can dyno your bike kev is a good person ask and a so are a few others.
Also I've attached the parts list from Elliots Motorcycles (400cc specialist) for you. ____________________ Dean Stone #777
