I had my bike for sale on Ebay sold to i guess must be a trader he/she has bought loads of other bikes all over the country.

So got a message advising they will be sending a courier to pick the bike up so the question is:

Do they pay me before the couriers come up or do the couriers take the cash, or can i ask that they pay up first as bought another bike.(my listing stated it had to be uplifted within 5 days)

Also what do i do with the V5 seeing i will never see the trader?

Also anything to watch out for?

Make sure you have the money before the courier picks up the bike!!

It's likely that they will want the yellow section of the V5 if they are a trader.

Also, try to write up a bill of sale and have the trader sign & fax/email it to you before the pickup.

Just don't let the bike and V5 leave without the money and a reciept.

Make sure that they pay up front. Don't accept a cheque as these have a nasty habit of bouncing, sometimes many weeks after they have ''cleared''.
