tryed making it work but its been a right pain, running the tv through hdmi to the card and the monitor to the card with dvi,but the tv screens just blank.

Identify the screens and make sure display 1 is the PC. If they're reversed you might get a blank screen when only the TV should be blank.
What card is it btw? ____________________ Go back to bed - You have no rights - "Streetfighters ~ Mainstream motorcycling's crackwhore sister." |

There should be an actual nvidia control panel which would be worth trying, instead of just the windows options. (Not familiar with Win7) ____________________ Go back to bed - You have no rights - "Streetfighters ~ Mainstream motorcycling's crackwhore sister." |

Can you try a different cable to the tv?
What tv is it? Was it connected before you booted the computer up?
nvidia forums have plenty of people with detection issues. All seem to work ok with a DVI connection (albeit without TV sound), some only get a picture with HDMI, others don't work at all.
You could try an older driver or newer driver.

After upgrading to Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, fresh install, I installed the latest nVidia drivers 195.62 for Windows 7 64bit.
Now my TV is not detected. I have tried rigorous detection and force TV detection. Nothing helped.
I installed the Beta 195.81 drivers. TV was still not detected.
I tried installing the old 185.85 drivers and during the install process even before rebooting the TV was immediately recognized and came to life!! |
