My left indicator behaves irratically, sometimes it flashes normally. sometimes the front one doesnt flash, but the back one does at 2-3 times the speed it is supposed (always on the left side, the front is fine) and ive also noticed that this issue can depend on how fast im going, i.e the faster im going the more chance of them working right is)

I suspect this could be the relay, although its such an intermitent issue im not sure

any ideas?

To me it sounds like a loose wire connection probably at the front left somewhere. If the front left becomes disconnected when indicating left there will only be resistance from one bulb causing it to flash quicker. If it's definitely speed (and not revs) related then maybe the wind is pushing on the wiring at an exposed point? May be worth a look.

Agreed with all this...

You need to understand that the flasher relays on cars and bikes both work the same way, when a bulb blows or there is a wiring fault causing one bulb not to work then the remaining bulb(s) will be flashed faster to tell you that there is a problem.
