Hi all just thought id put some pics up of my first nearly complete project my Hack in Black. It started life as a zxr750 l1 purple pink and black colour scheme. i have chopped the back end off to make it a single seater rerouted all the wiring to the inside of the frame , modified the undertray and most of the brackets, moved the expansion bottle, and most of the electrics sealed all that may be open to the elements. Extras added puig front fairing indicators etc ratted it with mat plasticote rattle cans had the hitcher from the mighty boosh airbrushed on tank and the crack fox on the helmet just because lol.Hope to get some feedback on this as i said it is my fist project and for that i love it , cheers guys be safe.

Isn't there some law where the number plate has to be further back than the tyre or the tyre can't be the first thing someone would hit if they rear-ended you or something?

Either way, looks hot!!

Cheers Ash, and pickle nope the number plate just has to be of legal size and positioned so to be readable, as i checked that with an m o t tester before positioning, if you look at most custom bikes specially choppers the back tyre is usually the furthest out to the rear and also if you were to hit something on your front bike your tyre would be on most bikes the first thing to contact and if say a car was to rear end ya with the size of the rear tyre and the lowness of a car bumper the chances are even with an overhang of some kind the tyre would get it first. On cars it is illegal for the tyres to protrude wider than the width of the car, this may be what your thinking about, cheers

Only when brand new, i.e. it is something bike manufacturers need to deal with. Pretty pointless rule anyway tbh, what benefit is afforded by a flimsy plate bracket being hit a split second before the tyre?

Build looks interesting though mate Thumbs Up .

I really dislike that headlight/fairing thing, if it were mine i'd remove it and just have a couple of small spotlights
