A guy I know is selling a winter hack.
its a 1997 P reg GSF 600SV Bandit
regular oil changes and filter changes
Hagon rear shock, progressive fork springs
Small front sprocket (not sure how small - just for better acceleration he says )
Front and rear wheel sprocket carrier and headrace bearings replaced
New cam chain
EBC Pro-Lite front disks, braided hoses all round
Motad downpipes and Remus race-can (+ standard can for MOT)
Runs and rides great, when the cam chain was done the mechanic said internally the engine is sound and looks like new.
The only thing is after 5 winters and 60,000 miles (yes 60k) the looks have shall we say dulled.
Now a mate is after buying this as just what its been sold as, a winter hack (to keep his black bird nice (yes the chap wanting replacement bolts etc)). So what would you guys say it was worth? ____________________ The BCF's very own Party boy! Though he's getting old and feeling it!

Suzuki for a winter hack? Best buy some shares in WD40 then mate Seriously though, sounds like a bargain to me. In the back of this months (Jan) BIKE magazine there's a Bandit 6 buyer's guide. ____________________ NSR125RR - ZXR750H1 - ZX9R E1 - GSF600S - GSF600SK3 - VFR400-NC30 - SV1000N - ST1100-R - CBR900RR-R - GSF1200SK5 - GSF600SK1 - VFR1200FA - GSXR1000K2 - ZZR1400 D8F

Nothing wrong with bandits Kris, the engines are bullet proof and for under a grand I wouldn't complain. I'd certainly would'nt worry about handing my money over as long as I made the appropriate checks that it was in working order. ____________________ Dean Stone #777

Yea as I said - sounds like a bargain. Only problem with Suzuki's is that they often turn to shit in winter, rotting and that. I was just messing with Gav about protecting it from rust But if you don't believe me ask Keith about brake calipers in winter ____________________ NSR125RR - ZXR750H1 - ZX9R E1 - GSF600S - GSF600SK3 - VFR400-NC30 - SV1000N - ST1100-R - CBR900RR-R - GSF1200SK5 - GSF600SK1 - VFR1200FA - GSXR1000K2 - ZZR1400 D8F
