My pride and joy, lots of money spent getting her to how she is Smile Some nice weather would be nice to take full advantage of her!

She is on a K plate, low mileage, braided hoses all round, wavy discs, double bubble screen, extremely loud Tyga Maggot exhaust, A recent addition is the 2 fingered brake/clutch levers (not shown in pics), which really sets the bike off.

Not sure whether to add the big honda 'wing' decals to the tank or just keep the little ones. Any thoughts??

Nice bike and you're from Woking! Thumbs Up

I would stick with the small wing decal if it was mine!

I said that, then I tried 016's Wink
A total improvement on a dated but still very capable tyre. Thumbs Up

As for the tank decals, I would keep them as is personally, I see no sense in mixing a race rep with a road bike scheme..
But if you think it could work then why not?

Nice bike, Welcome to the forum.

I'm not really one for race rep bikes but this one really makes my mouth water. I'd be afraid to ride a bike that nice though...

Hahaha, yeah I've lived in Woking or thereabouts for all of my life, recently bought a house in Goldsworth Park for my sins. I'll give a beep if I see an orange blur whizzing along!

Thumbs Up

Hey loving the bike, had a red/white/blue nc30 a couple of years ago myself.

Lovely little bike, not too keen on the orange screen though, I had a black tint on mine.

Im just up the road (so to speak) in Slough...where is there good to ride out? I've not long moved down here for work from Nottingham.

As for tyres I had bt014s and couldnt fault them other than the rear squared off quick but thats my own fault!! I hear the 016 is the new replacement for the 014s but not used them as I have a bigger bike now so I need a bit more durability, went with the 021s good for the rear but wears very poorly on the front.

Anyway, bring on the better weather!

021's are Dire.

I don't like the exhaust - It doesn't suit the bike IMO. Other than that, it's tidy.

Oh and get rid of the sticker on the screen. Actually get rid of the screen.

epic exhaust fail!! that exhaust is bad to the bone!! sounds like thunder, it is unbelievable!! i do agree about the sticker though (I didnt want it but the boyfriend got sticker happy!!) i think the screen does suit the bike, I normally have the solo seat on there which is also orange and it does set the bike off.

Sleeping I Yawn at these type of posts.
Have what suits you, even if it's completely tasteless.. As long as you're happy that's all that counts.

I don't like colored screens as a rule of thumb,
Prefer dark smoke tints or light smoke tints, black tint is okay.
But as it happens I think that screen actually suits the bike, I agree that it "sets it off" Thumbs Up

As for the exhaust I don't know whether it does suit the bike tbh, as nobody seems to think it does and they may be right.
But I do love tyga's products and when I sort the exhaust on my RVF it's a choice between that and a shotgun system.
Lovely piece of kit anyhow.

Do fuck those Michellin stickers off though Karma and personally I wouldn't have the HRC decal on there unless the bike had HRC parts.
(I have a the HRC logo on my reg plate, the only HRC part that I have is the inlet trumpets so far).

It was constructive criticism. The screen looks shit and the can doesn't suit the boxy design of the bike. It's only my opinion. Just like you saying about the Mich stickers.

But I am right.

Well I appreciate everyones opinions, I have even taken heed of some of them as I will be removing the screen decal and will also replace the mich decals. At the end of the day I have spent a lot of time and money getting my bike to look how it is (how I wanted it to look) and Im majorly happy with the result.

So I dont care if you think the screen looks shit 'garth' because I think the car you drive is for girls! Wink

Oh but you do care what he thinks.

You wouldn't post your bike on a forum withot expecting replies.

Not everyone likes what others do, and some of us, or in this case Garth mentioned that he didn't like something and you are replying directly to him.

The fact that you spent lots of money doesn't mean anything to him, he only can give his opinion on what he thinks of your bike according to the pics.

We can not expect everyone to like things to our tastes, and if wr really do not care, then we would just ignore.

Anyway, I would say a black screen would suit the bike a lot better.

Yeh I see the point about the exhaust, I agree but I still like them, still might put one on the RVF.
The screen doesn't look shit, maybe a clear/black/whatever screen might be an improvement.. maybe not.
But for my money the screen should be kept, because for one, a coloured screen actually works.

The problem on teh internet's is that the way you write things will determine how people take them.
For example "Oh and get rid of the sticker on the screen. Actually get rid of the screen." comes across as a bit rude, for lack of another way to put it.
If you said "I'm not feeling the sticker on the screen, infact I would replace the screen myself." then it comes over with a less of a blow, and would be less likely to cause a stir.. or attract yawns. Karma
Personally I reserve the former style of slagging someone's tastes off for those who clearly have none at all.

And no MihnDihn, just because someone post's a picture of their bike on the forum;
Doesn't mean they expect everyone to like it, doesn't mean they care.

Dunno, the I love you or whatever reply to someone who said they don't usually like race reps indicates to me that she does care for yhe replies.

If you don't care, then I would say do not reply at all. If you reply, and make a case and even post something saying; oh and your drive a girls car, even in jest, I would assume they do care. If she really doesn't, then I would not see it as so, because on the net, it is the way thigns are written as you say.

Even if what garth said could have been written differently, in a better manner than it looks shit, it doesn't matter if you like it.

I personally think the screen, if black would make it look better. Does orange ruin it? No, but looking at the bike on the whole, my own tastes, black would compliment it well.

Anyway, bikes are all different and we all make one our own.

God! Can no one take a joke around here? (said in a joking way, incase anyone misunderstands Wink)

I put a pic of my bike on here because there was a section for bike pictures and that is the whole point of them, or am I missing something........? Eh?

I genuinely do not care if people don't like my bike, or screen or exhaust or me for that matter Smile I love my bike and think it is the best thing in the world, but of course its nice if someone compliments it, hence the 'I love you' comment Wub. I was only having a bit of banter with 'Garth', and there was no nastiness intended, even though his comments did come across as slightly rude (and I accept that with text it is harder to read emotions, and I don't think he meant to be rude).

It wasn't my intention to start an argument so everyone just Shhh!

Peace out! Karma

Another Thumbs Down for the exhaust, the bike has classic style and appeal, a modern can looks out of place IMO.

I see what you and others are getting at but what it comes down to is that a bike is ultimately a selfish thing. The idea is to make the rider happy, and looks along with all the other characteristics of a given bike are a completely subjective thing. I personally like the exhaust...
