Apparently...

Was on my way to work yesterday morning, went round a corner, lost the back end. Tried to power out of it, but the bike stood up straight and i catapulted myself head on into a car.

Completely my fault, cant deny it.

Anyway, i got flung over the bike/car and landed on the road, i didn't really notice damage at the time, ambulance came and i went off, wife went and moved the bike for me.

the result is, a cracked femur, busted knee, torn ligament and just general aches and pains.

The bike, not AS bad as you would think:

Anyway, was at home today and the person whos car it was came round to see if i was alright and to tell me his car was being written off. I know it was a fair bang, but i cant imagine i managed to write it off :S

ANYWAY....

Anyone who knows anything about 1991 CBR's, i need a new set of forks. Looking for a bargain ebay buy atm to change them, are there any forks off another bike which may fit?

Cheers guys.

Yea when a car is that old and worth scrap value something simple like a new bonnet or bumper will write it off easily.

I don't think they made the Zafira in 1994. I thought it started in the late 90's.

Hey Qwiktune.

That sucks, terribly, but most importantly is that you lived and are okay. Insurance will sort out all the stuff that doesn't really interest you at this time so just make sure you take all the time you need and recover.

If you need someone to talk to, feel free to PM me, I fractured both of my femurs in a motorcycle accident, among other bones, so I know what it's like to go through and it sucks.

Best of luck and I wish you a speedy recovery. Thumbs Up.

Errrm, dunno if I want to admit this, but I have a Zafira... Not in horrible green mind. Nice red one.

However as mentioned they were only introduced in 1999. A 2004 one I would have thought would be worth about £2000-3000 (depending on mileage, engine size, trim level). Really reckon you did that much damage?
