I've noticed my RXS100 has started making a clicking noise about every wheel revolution. I can't seem to make it do it when pushing it along in neutral so my first thought was the chain...but after adjusting it to be if anything slightly too tight the noise is still there. The bike is functioning perfectly as far as I can tell...any ideas...?

I haven't but that sounds sensible. I think I have a general idea of how to go about it.

I slackened the chain right off cleaned it VERY thoroughly with paraffin, tightened it and lubed it. I think the sound might still be there a bit but it may just be my imagination...it was never a particularly loud noise to start with.

Not a chainguard screw touching the chain? That's a common one.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've had a stupidly busy weekend. I'll take a look tomorrow most likely. It does puzzle me how this could happen when the chain guard hasn't been touched in ages though.
