Anyone else playing Shogun 2 total war?

Graphics and battle gameplay/AI are excellent improvment on past games and in keeping with the historical feudal samurai way of war but seems like they have gone a bit OTT with micromanagement in the campain map plus multiplayer has some form of points/unlock system.
