hi, just read on the internet that a different could put my bike over the restriction, so produces over 33bhp. Is this right? If so, is there anything i can do? Bikes a thundercat with beowulf can.

If you change anything you'll still have an illegal bike and/or invalid insurance so why not just take the washers out of the carbs, remove the throttle stop or take off whatever restrictors you have?

Well, if you read it on the internets, it's 100% official and true.

If your bike is over 25kW at the crank, it's over 25kW at the crank.

Is it?

How would you know?

How would your insurer know, or prove it?

Stick to the facts, don't deal in speculation.

Sorry Grant, I'm not sure what you're getting at. Firstly are you on a restricted (A2) license? And secondly, what exactly are you trying to achieve?

on restricted license. I have a thundercat with beowulf exhaust.
I read on the internet (another bike forum) that as the exhaust increases power, will my bike be illegal for me, i.e. produces more than 33bhp, even with the restrictor in, due to the extra power from the exhaust? And if it does, what can i do?
thanks
