I remember many moons ago approx 12 or so a bike manufacturer that made new bikes but made from old war time bike designs.

They were at the time approx £2,500 and up , they used to advertise all over MCN and the like just interested to see if they are still about .

Not always. The very early ones were made in Reddich. They moved production of the single cylinder models out to India in the 50's sometime.

They haven't gone bust. I have an '07 one. The last batch of "proper" bullets to be imported into the UK with points and a carburettor before EU emissions laws made them have to fit fuel injection and redesign the whole engine. Still making them in India though, it's one hell of a production run.
