XR1100 is the better helmet, Stealth gets complaints of being noisy and build quality

Agv lids always have have a terrible whistling noise, and the internal visors aint the best of quality.
Xr1100 is a good lid, can really fault it unless it dont fit.
And dont bother with the raid or raid ll as there old models now and have been replaced with the quest.

I've had the AGV SV for about 4 months, and it's to be replaced by an ARAI Viper GT. I found the SV to be very noisy, even after multiple trips to the retailer to 'adjust' the visor. I found the internal sun visor to be awkward to use, and gave a slightly distorted view when used with the main visor.

For me the saying, 'Buy cheap, buy twice' has certainly been true.

Dropped lids mean nothing, mines fallen off the bike seat ~5 times now.
Doesnt bother me in the slightest. I had a really decent AGV one in 08... 2 months old, had a crash and it split..literally split in half... ambulance crew were surprised Laughing

If it impacted the ground in your crash with your head in it, THAT is what I'd be worried about, not dropping it.

For most people, not that important, judging by how few make a good effort to learn the skills to NOT crash in the first place.

Anyway, for the OP - the one that fits the best.
