I have asked the seller if this can has a removable baffle, his response was there is no baffle.

OK fine, but to me it looks like one has been removed.

What do you guys think?

That can has no baffle, there are universal baffles available on the interwerbs, although they may need bodging into the can and have varied results.

I bought one of these to get my bike through it's mot. I initially thought it was going to be a load of tosh but I must say it worked really well.

Quoting from the guys auction

"If you need a larger or smaller one we can make to suit, just let us know the bore size of your can but please be aware that they will be made to order and can take a few extra days as the parts need laser cutting."

Thats what I did as I wanted it to fit a custom stubby Scorpion that I had cut about for my Dr650.
It cost me a WHOLE pound more lol.

I purchased a baffle from that ebay link about 3 years ago. If you want any semblance of noise suppression, you can forget it! It depends entirely on your can's plumbing and the condition of the wadding/packing material, so yes, his description is pretty accurate. What I did for my MOT was fit wire scrubbing brush to the pipe and jam it into the exhaust spout and mounted it. It seemed to have restricted the flow better. Alternatively, I suppose you can ask him to weld a larger diameter plate?

If you wan't proper noise suppression, I paid a bit more for the Bike-it baffle. Unfortunately for me, the screw came loose when I was riding and didn't notice it was gone until I washed the bike a few weeks later.

That said, if you have a race can and want a "baffle for show", I cut down the length of the tubing so that it only protrudes about an inch past the bend and hacksawed it off! So if a jobsworth does stop to ask if the can's road legal, I could say YES... despite the fact that the baffle does nothing other than add a few extra grammes.
