Honda XR 125??

Hi people, looking at a honda XR 125 for sale from a dealer, £900, 2003, 30,000 miles, new battery, sprockets, serviced and new M.O.T....... What do you think, worth it??

Mileage quite high, but if it's been serviced regularly then it will probably be fine.

I paid £995 for my 2003 XR with full service history all the paperwork both keys etc and 4300 miles.

They run on abuse anyway so the engine is virtually bulletproof since it's from the CG125. Seeing that it's from a dealer, then 900 is worth it. I wouldn't mind getting another one. Mileage shouldn't be an issue. There was a recall on it though for electrical/ignition issues.

OHV engine in it, the CB was an OHC i think

I'm fairly sure it was a pushrod OHV on the bike when I was looking at the cylinder stampings.

I bought my XR with 13k on it, sold it with over 20 for that sort of money. It never missed a beat in all the time I had it, such a simple engine, even if anything does go wrong it won't cost much to fix!

2003 Model 6000 Miles, and the speedo cable stopped working about 100 miles ago...

hello mate yeah thts because im looking for a very quick sale and i havent got aany old mot no but the bike has been in storage for 5 years cause one of the previous owners was very ill and was saving the bike for hes son, the spedo is broke at the moment like i have nooted but only for about 100 miles max. the bike is in god condition just few scuffs but overall a bargin of a bike for £800 to be honiest but like isaid after a quick sale.
