It was such a lovely afternoon/evening that i thought i'd do my best J. R. Hartley impression and had an hours fishing down on the canal.

Took a couple of small Pike, one around the 5lb mark, one of around 7lb. Not bad work for an hour.

Got the usual odd looks and questions from people - You're fly fishing? On a canal? I don't think there's any trout in there....etc.

Rounded it off by watching the sunset with a celebratory beer at a canalside pub, The Three Horseshoes at Winkwell:

I've been running throughout the winter, 3 or 4 times a week from about 7.30pm onwards so it's been pitch black.

Tonight was the first night that I returned home knowing full well that I wouldn't have to check the sole of my trainers 'cos, due to the extra hour of daylight, I could see where I was putting my feet and consequently safe in the knowledge that I hadn't stepped in any dog turds.

Dog owners who don't pick up their hounds' shit should be made to fucking eat it.

Whilst all you faggots have been busy cleaning your Cars, I was up and out first thing this morning (which is a rarity, I must admit)doing pretty much the opposite, riding bitch on my mates XT660r.
Around and at some point across the Malvern hills, Colwall, Ledbury.. The forestry tracks, which was new ground for us and then we found our way into the Eastnor Land Rover tracks again, they can't keep us out!
Had a little gander through the local quarry and through CastleMorton back into Colwall.
Even tried my hand at Photography, with my shitty phone camera, and registered on BikePics.

Anita and I are been spring cleaning

Quite pleased actually: I fixed a "broken" hoover (scarf stuck in nozzle), scored some extra kitchenware and cookery books from rifling thru her father's belongings, found a new toy for the dog - and now I don't mind having people arrive and spend time in my living room any more, cos its lovely and clean and tidy, and hardly any dog hair at all.

Sadly the irony of the Colwall please drive safely shot, is the guy who took it, is now dead for riding like a prick. Bit of a waste as he was a nice bloke even if he did ride beyond his abilities.
