So I've been looking around at aftermarket exhausts for R1s in preparation for when I buy mine shortly and I came across these whilst on YouTube.

https://www.toceperformance.com/yamr1_15.html

Anyone had any experience with Toce before?

I love the 4 slash cut pipes and I would be getting an 04 R1, did some checking with HMRC and they would cost £660 to be shipped from the US including shipping and import taxes.

By the way, if anyone else is thinking about importing exhausts from the US, the VAT rate is 3.7% of the total + 20% ontop of that.

Just remember to factor in, import duty on products over $150 and that many carriers charge a arm and a leg to collect the charge..

Many retailer's will no longer mark products as gifts. If they get caught out, trying to avoid duty they face nasty fines....

That's what I was talking about, if you order an exhaust, that's the tax bracket applied to them items. You can't mark any items as gifts anymore, they stopped that.

My mate ordered a yoshi exhaust from the states, I think it was about $500 he was stung £100 import fees. It still worked out cheaper than buying it here!

The CBR6 one looks particularly hideous. Sounds good on the Busa though Wink

You not think the R1 pipes look good? I like the sharp lines and they sound pretty awesome on that video, says the baffles are in as well bet they sound amazing in the flesh.

I'm just looking anyway, would either be one of them or a racefit growler or something GP style but I like the uniqueness of them, never see a 4 pipe system like that before on any bikes I've seen, after market anyway.
