The little rubber captive nut things. shaped like a top hat you put it in a hole and when you put a bolt in it squashes it up so it sticks in the hole. They are the same as the nut things in screen bolt kits. I need one for my TDM Yamaha want £4.50 for one I reckon I could get a pack of 10 for that, only I don't know what they are called.

Chris, what size are you looking for? I have two different sized ones in front of me. One is 23mm long with an outside diameter of 10mm and it contains a 5mm nut. The other is 33mm long with an outside diameter of 12mm and it contains a 6mm nut. I have a few of each size that are going begging. If they are of use to you PM me your details and I will post them to you tomorrow.
