Adding a named rider question ???

Hi guys and girls quick question i currently own an r6 but am thinking about getting an R1 so did an insurance quote and laughed at how much they wanted so i played about with the sort of cover i wanted with not much change to price at all , then thought il add my dad as a named rider and it went down from over £2000 to...

£563 tpft
still over £2000 for comp

now what i wanted to know is if i added my dad as a named rider on my policy and i had a crash which was my fault would this affect his no claims or is it just mine that would be affected as i would have been the rider at the time ?
