I'm helping to name/brand an insurance scheme aimed at bike dealers and i'm looking for inspiration.

Best I have so far is Torque. Hence I'm asking for ideas Laughing

Just keywords like Burnout, Full Throttle etc would be a help.

There's no prizes i'm afraid kids. Karma

Hi

What are you insuring them against? Breakdown insurance on bikes they have sold? Multibike trade policy? Policy aimed at personal vehicles of traders?

All the best

Keith

Anything like torque, full throttle etc etc will make you sound like a bunch of retarded the fast and the furious fans rather than a professional insurance organisation.

IMO, keep away from the gimmicky names and go for something simple. i.e. initials, or short acronyms for example A2B.

It needs to be something gimmicky as it's a scheme aimed at the trade rather than the public and needs to be punchy.

Since you like Python, how about Devious Insurance? "You plucked for our 'never pay policy'..." (you know, to be consistent with their warranties).

Premier,prestige,A1,your surname insurance,Benchmark ,something securities etc just pick something that suggests reliability and professionalism.

Seems to be the naming policy that works best or as someone suggested just use initials .foreign place names work as well look at Santander for instance .

Just be careful it's not already in use , check the companies house website

Spectacularly put Very Happy

When we're looking for services (I run an IT company rather than anything mechanical, but I'd guess a similar idea applies?), we'll look first at a company which looks like it specialises in what were after... Something simple like complete bike outlet insurance services would be the sort of thing we'd look at (I mean as a concept, rather than the actual text I've used - I appreciate that the text is crap!).

When you're scanning listings for a suitable provider, a name which says what you are providing will make you stand out. As will something odd - pineapple complete bike outlet insurers, for example).

If you have the cash for it, the advice of someone who specialises in marketing and branding is worth it's weight in gold.
