Might find it's cheaper to go TPFT or fully comp.

16, 0 years NCB, licence held for under a year...

It's not gonna be cheap...

Make sure it's garaged and has plenty security on it Thumbs Up

Sometimes it works out cheaper to go TPFT... my TT costs me £350 TPFT, but £500 TPO.

Now I'm an old fart, but remember TPFT on my DT50MX costing me £250 a year.

And that was in 1991.

So £300ish doesn't seem too bad to me!!!

Follow that guide, it will tell you how to go through all the insurance companies systematically.

Reason I ask is because I told you in your last insurance thread, doing the above will let you know if it is a good price. Rolling Eyes

£167 Third Party Only for me with Rampdale.

It was the cheapest quote for me after going on bikeinsurer, gocompare, confused e.t.c.

https://www.rampdale.com/

£365 seems well expensive for a 16 year old.

My range of quotes on the comparison sites was around £180-£250.

Ffs you've got to be putting your details in wrong or something!

Are you sure you did it for TPO?

Fair enough, what's cheapest for someone else won't necessarily be the cheapest for you. That's why you need to phone around as many insurance companies as possible, like all the ones advertising in the back of MCN or Bike Trader.

So, you must be doing something wrong.

Me, saying im 16, just done CBT today, living in london, with a garage, TPO, with a chain, no claims, no crashes, no ncb, 4000 miles a year, student at school.

https://i53.tinypic.com/2a0hthh.jpg

Lol at your quotes... seriously really go into it.. thats pretty cheap, almost as cheap as me insuring a 650 Thumbs Up

I did use my name... lol, and I seem to have the tendency to get cheap insurance Laughing
