Bother to read the forum you're posting in. This is about motorbikes.
Best to always preview your post to, so you don't look the fool by using code which a forum doesn't support.
D- for effort - hope this is an April's fool!

And no, I don't think you're mad - see enough people that do this sort of thing for fun. Been nice if people gave me money to ride around Europe on holiday. But no way I could have accepted it with conscience.

Oh and forces childrens trust - maybe a better thing to do would be to help make soldiers fully aware of what their job entails before signing up Wink.
Similarly for "Help for Heroes" - which doesn't really seem to differentiate between 'heroes' and those people just doing the job they're being paid to do Rolling Eyes.

£1000 for the bike, £2000 for the lycra budgie smugglers.

Tent: £100
Puncture repair kit: £5

Why not just give £3000 to the charity and save all the grief? 7X3000=
£21000.
Oh wait.....You are deducting the £3000 from what you raise so we pay for your trip.

What's up with sleeping in a tent?
Support vehicle can be done very cheaply for push bikes - see the various budget charity rallies where people manage much harsher stuff with £100 cars.

Why do you need a motorhome AND a support vehicle? Surely the motorhome IS the support vehicle?

And, if it's supposed to be a 'challenge', do you really need a support vehicle Confused. At best, why not get a 125cc motorbike with some big panniers etc as well as a spare helmet. Make it so it can take a bike + rider until the bike can be repaired.

Sounds like you're expecting others to pay while you go on Holiday for luxuries I wouldn't expect to have on a normal holiday (well, I do now own a large motorhome with garage that I hope to take on Holiday some time, but that's another matter and I certainly wouldn't be asking people to pay because I'm doing that Smile.)

Top Tip: stop off at every leather-cap-bar on the way, wriggle your little spandex clad arse, and man-whore your way to profit. Dance!
