hi all, got a beowulf end can on at the minute without baffle and was wondering whether there are any louder cans?
The beowulf can is loud but would prefer something very loud, so that bike can be heard while i speed off in to distance XD
Don't know much about bikes other than how to ride so excuse me if I don't understand simple instructions lol.
Are there any noticeably louder cans that are worth spending extra money on? Would prefer one that is road legal with baffle in, so that i can use the excuse that 'it fell out' if i get stopped (happened with current can, never found screw but have got the actual baffle, and it is now sitting under my seat).
Would it be worth cutting my can down or just get a new stubby can?
Would be looking to spend up to £150 on a can, seen some on ebay for around £130, would these be worth it?
thanks, Grant

Beowulf cans are f'in awesome, and are on the loud end of the spectrum.

Stubby cans tend to be a bit screechier, but if you don't mind that then go for it.

I had a beowulf on my Bandit600 and it definitely made itself heard.

I then had a BlueFlame Evo Twin Port can, which was phenomenal. Louder than the Beowulf, and had that sexy low rumble. My door would always be open because the family would hear me coming.

They say they hear me a goof 30-40 seconds before i get to the door!

Now i Have 2 BlueFlame Evo Twin port cans, on my Bandit600 and it wakes the dead!

Both are road legal with baffles in. The Good thing with the BlueFlam Evo is that because it has 2 outlets, you can remove one baffle and leave the other in etc to play with the sound tone and get it to what you like!

The BlueFlam Evo's are £250-£300 brand new, but can be had on ebay for less than £70 if you're patient. Mine were spotless and i got them used for £55 each

thanks for the info, think i may get a Blueflame evo oval with two spouts one for £75 on ebay now but no baffles, will this be OK? Presume I can just put Beowulf can with baffle in for MOT so its legal?
Will there be a noticeable difference between cans? Worth the extra cost?
cheers

I have a Beowulf on the Bandit at the moment... and I re-fitted the baffle for the MOT just last week.
I love the deep sound of the Beowulf, with the added advantage that I didn't have to sell a body part to afford it Thumbs Up

The Beowulf on my bandit didn't seem to make much difference in sound whether i had the baffle in or out. They both sounded awesome.

The BluFlame Evo can i bought without baffles too, and its not road legal without them. Nobody cares though. just keep your road legal can (either the beowulf or the original) and swap them over come MOT time. My MOT guy used to say he'll pass it if i showed him the legal exhaust. but then as he got to know me, i don't bother taking it in, he just passes it with the BlueFlame evo). Remember, the BlueFlame evo has the necessary stamping etc, so you'd have to find an anal copper to give you grief over it.
