Singles do vibrate, on a 600 it can be noticeable, but on a 125 it will just be a buzzing in time with the revs rather than feeling like your sat on a washing machine. In your case i don't think it's the engine that's doing it. It sounds very related to the clutch, chain, cush drive, wheel bearings and brakes. Or it might just be that you're crap at clutch & rev control. Provided it does it when other people ride it, and doesn't do it when you ride other bikes i'd say its certainly not the latter, probably isn't anyway. Provided it both wheels spin freely after you've put the brakes on then that elimates the brakes. You say you did the chain, but it needs doing regularly the sprockets might also be hook shaped and catching on the chain. Adjusting the clutch so that it is completely disengaged when the lever is pulled in is very important. I had a 600 that was bouncing the chain up and down when i slowed to the stop. I check everything and was going mad, then i adjusted the clutch for no real reason and it was fixed! So you might want to get the clutch cover off and inspect the plates and check the springs and stuff. |
