She's after a stubby style moto gp exhaust but doesn't want to pay more than about £200 new or second hand.

Also, she may need it lowered slightly... am I right in thinking these have adjustable suspension?

I've yet to see it, going picking it up Friday/Sat to ride it back for her but she said it's immaculate.

I'm picking up my Hawk Exhaust from Pipewerx tomorrow. Heard lots of good things about them and their quality too. Great price.

The hawk just has a different exhaust outlet instead of the laser cut one. I prefer the look of the Hawk and they're built in the same way with different materials.

https://stores.ebay.co.uk/PIPE-WERX-BIKES/_i.html?_nkw=Kawasaki+636&submit=Search&_sid=99608032

They can also make them different sizes for you also.

Are you going to get a similar sound from one of these:

https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ZX6R-ZX636-03-04-A16-MOTO-GP-CARBON-STUBBY-exhaust-ZX6-/360198066655?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item53dd7a51df

To a Racefit Growler? I mean, it's all about paying for brands isn't it? They can't be that different in build quality can they?

She has got it into her head she wants to respray it all white of a mixture of black and white. I think green is the best (and fastest) colour for a ninja.

Some quick shops I did for her...

Tell her bikes are for riding Wink.

It does fully adjustable suspension I'm pretty sure.
However, you should only set the preload (which will lower it a little, presuming she's light), rather than use this to lower it.
You can PROBABLY get an appropriate lower link or similar for the rear suspension, then drop the front down the forks the same amount.

Keep it green!!!
Won't it lose value with it being a different colour than what it is on the log book?

I couldn't be arsed constantly cleaning it, bad enough trying to keep a black bike clean Mr. Green

She's going to keep this for a few years she said. Can't you send the log book off and get the colour changed so nobody would know anyway?

They never came in white mate so any one with half a brain will know its resprayed, then the usual why has it been resprayed....most will think its been binned. As you always go on the cautious side when buying used, its reasonable to assume a respray = binnage

Ah well, up to hair isn't it at the end of the day. I told her to keep it in green, I reckon after she's had it a few weeks it will grow on her.

Good thing is, she doesn't have a garage and drives a car most days to work, so I have use of it as it's in my garage 90% of the time Razz
