Suggestion

I think it would be a good idea for a "Technical" part to the foum. This could show latst performance parts for those who want to make there bikes qwicker, withought buying a new bike.

Sorry, but: ' LOL ' .

The suggstion comes up for a technical forum at least once a month I'd say.
We used to have it like that, but it just turned out that no one answered the posts because they didn't bother to read it.

Whether or not now has come the time to introduce one is another matter.

As for making bikes go faster, most people just buy a faster bike in the first place if they want one . Elsewise there's so many different types of bikes owned on here, a copy of 'demon tweaks' catalogue would be much more useful.

The question is would the people that /do/ have the knowledge post in it, as they didn't when we had it before.
There's a lot more members now so it may well work and it'd be good to have a way to stop technical threads being kicked down before they're answered.

ANother thought that has been bandied around before is to have an icon or category for general chat like some other forums do.
But then have the choice so you could just view threads with a spanner next to them (representing bike technical) or view all threads or say just ones relating to computers or whatever.

I think when the new version of BCF is done we'll be able to have more spcific forums, with the fixed unread markers you won't lose track of what you've read and what you haven't. Maybe. Bleh
