Is now a lot more fun, with one less thing to worry about...

https://www.thisisbath.co.uk/news/Question-mark-safety-cameras-west/article-3190957-detail/article.html

All the fixed cameras will no be turned off (although any with film may wait untill the film runs out, so be careful for a little bit!)

Seems the council have run out of money to run the saftey scamera partnership, and the police obviously think its such a valuable use of their resources, they wont fund it either.

What a shame ! Laughing

However does mean the police may return to hiding in bushes with speed guns to improve the crimes / solved statistics, so will have to keep an eye out on some of the the old spots.

As a bonus, north somerset council also recently put a 30 speed limit near me up to a NSL after finding only 300 vehicles out of about 13,000 were keeping to the limit,

Council in Common Sense Shocker!

I don't think there's actually any cameras on my route into Bath every morning, but obviously, I think this is a terrible shame anyway.
