So my bike is booked in for its MOT on Thursday and I just wanted to check what I should be looking at in preparation, I've always done my own work on cars but bikes are new to me. I've checked the following but any other pointers would be appreciated as the bike had been sat for four years before a little recommissioning.

Front brake working, not binding, no leaks, operating brake light.
Rear brake working, not binding, no leaks, operating brake light.
Front tyre good, no perishing, lots of tread, pressure ok.
Rear tyre good, no perishing, lots of tread, pressure ok.
Front wheel bearings ok.
Rear wheel bearings new.
Chain adjusted correctly, no wear to sprockets, lubricated.
Headlight working on dipped and main.
Rear guard and brake light working.
Indicators working.
Swingarm bearings/bushings free of play.
Headstock bearings smooth and free of play.
New fork seals.
Rear shock not leaking, damping ok.
Standard exhaust secure and free of leaks.
Correct sized plate with red 'e' marked reflector.
No front mudguard but fork brace fitted and secure.

Have I missed anything? Cheers in advance.

Edit: How stringent are the emissions test generally on a 20 year old bike? Mixture screws were set with the carb rebuild and seem a little rich.

Sweet.

Mudguard is still in the painters unit with the side panels, hopefully pick them up tomorrow but planning for the event of laziness on my part Laughing

Handy List:

If the bike isn't too bad just get it booked in, they will tell you what needs doing on the advisory sheet. You have 10 days to sort it out.
