I have been telling myself I wont buy a NEW bike yet but today I went to the triumph dealer, they had a thruxton just sitting there looking gorgeous. Sooo I had a sit and a chat to the guy, and now I have a test ride aranged for when my licence comes through and a list of finance options.....

I don't think there's much chance of me not getting this bike!

Nice bike, quite small though (well for me)...so it was knocked off my list of 'what bike next?' immediately. Still a damn good looking machine though. Thumbs Up

Pretty bike..remember to keep in mind, it 'could' feel awful when you test ride it! Don't let the looks seduce you, the ride is important too!...that also goes for other things too thinking about it.... Very Happy

Excellent choice. I would probably have had one by now if they didn't remain so expensive for what they are.

For example, apart from the way it looks, a TRX850 does everything miles better. Just without that bit of magic.

I test rode the Thruxton a few years ago, it was good. Bit slow and heavy into the corners but you would soon get used to that.

The sound with the noisy cans is awesome Thumbs Up
