Ahoy!



I sold and bought a bike this sunday just gone.

New bike is a klr600, old was a fzr1000 exup ru. Talk about differences!

I had the fzr1000 since the start of the year, and after doing a few London round trips and 8k miles, it started to lose all fun. I ended up commuting to work farrr too quickly, equipped with the fact I still use my old supermoto gear (no 1 piece leathers), If I came off I would be toast.

So I decided my luck was up and sold it. A few pictures of the old girl.

Sold it on the sunday, and on the monday (this week) I bought a KLR600, 10 months tax and test with brand new tyres, service and pads.

Ok, It's a MASSIVE step down in power, but I can honestly say this is far more fun ragging around than the thou. Because of where I live, I have 3x more single lanes and roads than A roads etc. Plus eveything is far cheaper on this.

Also tried a spot of off-roading earlier today (ok, it was mounting a large verge to get around a lorry, but still.. wouldn't be able to do it on my old bike!)
