Having yesterday done this.

I have had a quick attempt to remove this casing. I've got all the bolts off, even though the casing cracked and busted.

But when I try to pull the casing off, I am not sure what to do. When I try to pull it off I can see cogs underneath, but it pulls back. Don't really want to try lots of force. Not sure what's under it to be honest.

I do a lot of things on my bike, but its normally basic home mechanic stuff , i've never had to delve n to the engine.

At first I thought it was the clutch, but that's at the other side.

The stator is bolted to the cover which is being attracted to the magnets on the flywheel you need a bit of force to get it off, just dont try and lever it off as you will damage the casing on the engine.
