Anybody remember their A level maths? Formula for distance between two vectors on a 2d grid? Get me that and I'll try to do it.

Can you not make it use The AA Route Planner or one of the route planners online? Because doing it as a vector will only give the straghtline distance etc, not the actual distance  |

X^2+y^2=z^2
And I could swear we touched on it in ks3 .
So you need to square the difference between the x coordinates and square the difference between the y coordinates. Add the two results together then find the square root of that, which will be the straight line distance. |
