Have got a long list of jobs to sort on this CG - but the good news is i've only a few left to go before it's "roadworthy" and MOTable. The bad news being that these are now things that i'm getting stuck on, and i'm finding fettling with it to be frustrating.

The problems i'm currently experiencing:
1) Centre stand spring / return mechanism (picture here: https://www.hondaoriginalparts.com/hpl/i ... __1900.jpg ).
The springs (numbers 2 and 3) are one inside the other, but i'm struggling to work out exactly what spring hooks round what (i can't seem to hook them both around the stand because they won't stretch far enough). There's a little sticky-out-thing on the frame that is clearly the frame-side mounting point - but i've already tried this once, and it fell off again...

2) Throttle return mechanism.
It won't return properly, it's sticky. Have tried lubing it a little. But i have been in the carb ( https://www.hondaoriginalparts.com/hpl/i ... __1501.jpg ) too, so potentially upset it.

3) Cuts out on idling. At least a tiny amount of throttle must be applied for it to start, and to keep it running (easy to ignore at the moment due to the sticking throttle but will be a problem when throttle is fixed), even when allowed to warm up. If throttle is closed, engine will slow to a stop within a couple of seconds:
Because i've disassembled, reassembled, and cleaned the carb, i can't see why this is happening. Unless it's a case of the idle speed simply being too low (it is too low, i can hear it's too low, but nothing has "changed" between when i laid it up a couple of years ago, and now, so i can't see simply whacking up the idle to be a massively good idea when there's potentially another problem that doing that could temporarily mask).

I had a spot of bother with my CB125T, I ended up taking the cable off, cleaning and regreasing, same with the throttle handle, now its sweet.

There were a few kinks in the cable I straightened out too.
