Hello, I'm interested in getting a projector, I only want it for using with the computer/playstation etc.

My question is, would something like the one in the link below be suitable for a good few hours at a time playing games/watching programmes off i player and such or watching films from the computer?

My daughter likes peppa pig and stuff and I download them for her.

Thanks in advance.

First question, who the fuck are AIPTEK?
Exactly.

Those pico projectors aren't very bright and can only be used with the lights off. they are abou 6-10 lumens, a normal projector is 2500+. The resolution of 640 x 360 is probably less than that of an iphone. I'm not sure how they connect to your computer or playstation so special leads would probably be required and might not be available.

If you want a pico projector, there are better ones to buy. If you want a projector, you probably don't want a pico projector.

There are certain things when buying you should stick to brands if you can.

e.g. bikes, projectors, tv's, cars etc.

Ok ta.

Do you know of any brands within the 200 quid area?

Saw some Actual projectors on ebay for that money but they are chinese. I wouldn't know where to look for a good deal on a decent one.

That'll still be fairly rubbish, and is only 800x600

Get a second hand big projector. Sure the bulbs go in them, but they're a consumable, so provided it's a decent make you can get another.

when you decide on a projector, look up the price of a bulb and factor that in.

I bought 2 projectors (fifty squid) from eBay which both needed a new bulb - cost about a hundred for each.

They make projectors, camcorders and graphics tablets and such. They're a decent recognised brand.
