We are unable to help without hearing it, I've had a CG125 and a XR125 and they both made rattly noises. How long have you owned the bike and have they always been there?

My xr250 sounds like a tank and makes a rattly noise too, have you noticed any weird smells? Is it using lots of oil? Hard to start? Does it pull well or do you notice it struggling? Idle OK?

Get a Haynes manual for it, you don't specifically need a 2003 book but the one that covers a range of years including yours. If I can follow a Haynes, anyone can!
