i currently have a CG125 but the other day i took the new CBR125 for a test ride whilst mine was being serviced and i realy enjoyed it.

so what do i do... keep the CG or trade it for the CBR? main reason for doubts it im saving for my wedding and the missus likes it but is not keen on me splashing out on a new bike?

what do i do???

Neither, pay for some training, do your test and get a CB500.

There really is no real purpose for getting an expensive 125, spend the extra on doing your test and get away from the pricey learner legal bikes.

CB500s are cheap, reliable, will have over double the power of the CBR125 even if restricted to 33bhp and can cope with motorways and you can take your bird on the back.

Sporty 125s are nonsensical.

Sell the CG, add the money from the sale to the wedding fund. Take said wedding fund and use it to do your bike test and buy a decent bike. Weddings only last a day, a bike will last for years.......

If you must get one get a used one for a grand. At that price they are almost starting to make sense (if you squint and are blind in one eye).
